We are looking for a hands-on Senior Consultant to support the design and build of AI Agent solutions. This role will focus on developing and configuring agents, designing conversation flows, orchestrating workflows and building integrations across the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
The successful candidate will configure solutions in Copilot Studio, develop prompts and instructions, support testing activities and optimise agent performance. They will also contribute to technical documentation, deployment planning and knowledge transfer activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure AI agents within Copilot Studio, including conversation flows and dialog logic
- Orchestrate workflows and build integrations across Power Platform, Power Automate and Dataverse
- Design, write and refine prompts and instructions to optimise agent behaviour and performance
- Build integrations with Azure AI services to extend agent capability
- Support testing activities, including functional testing and performance tuning of deployed agents
- Work closely with the Build Lead to translate solution designs into working configurations
- Contribute to technical documentation, deployment planning and knowledge transfer materials
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and validate solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during build, test and early deployment phases

Required Skills & Experience
- Practical, hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Strong working knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Automate and Dataverse
- Demonstrable experience in prompt engineering, including designing and iterating on prompts and instructions
- Experience working with Azure AI services
- Understanding of conversational design principles and agent orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguous or evolving requirements
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable working directly with both business and technical teams
- Experience contributing to technical documentation and supporting deployment activities
- Comfortable working independently as a contractor within a small, fast-moving delivery team

Desirable
- Previous experience delivering AI agent or chatbot solutions in an enterprise environment
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure AI)
Contract Details
- Type: Contract, Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend
- Location: Remote (must be UK based)
- Start: ASAP
