Copilot Strategy, Change & Adoption Consultant | Microsoft AI
Hybrid | London, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow
I’m currently recruiting for a Copilot Strategy, Change & Adoption Consultant to join a leading global business and technology transformation consultancy, working with major organisations across the UK.
The organisation works across sectors including government, financial services, insurance, energy and retail, helping clients use technology, data and AI to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful transformation.
This role focuses on helping organisations move beyond simply deploying Microsoft Copilot and actually embed AI into the way people work. You’ll combine AI strategy with business change, communications and adoption, helping clients build the skills, confidence and ways of working needed to get real value from Copilot.
The role
You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders to shape Copilot strategies, lead adoption programmes and support organisations through the transition towards AI-enabled ways of working.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Microsoft Copilot adoption strategies aligned to business objectives, workforce needs, technology and data considerations
- Advising senior stakeholders on the opportunities and practical implications of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder and emerging workplace AI
- Leading workshops to understand current ways of working and identify opportunities for AI-enabled process and workplace transformation
- Designing and delivering change and adoption programmes from pilot through to organisation-wide rollout
- Developing communications, training, engagement plans and persona-led adoption strategies
- Helping organisations address AI scepticism, concerns and resistance, building confidence and trust in new ways of working
- Establishing champions networks, communities, training programmes, prompt libraries and other enablement approaches
- Defining measures of success and helping clients understand the business value, productivity improvements and benefits generated through Copilot adoption
- Leading client meetings and engaging confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Managing consulting workstreams and small project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and managing risks and dependencies
- Translating complex AI concepts into practical recommendations and tangible business outcomes
- Supporting proposals, bids, RFPs and wider business development and solution shaping
- Contributing to the development of the wider AI and Copilot consulting capability

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who can combine AI strategy, business change and adoption with strong consulting and client-facing experience.
You'll ideally have:
- 4+ years' consulting experience, ideally gained within a major consulting or professional services environment
- Experience developing and delivering change, communications and technology adoption programmes at scale
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem
- Experience advising senior stakeholders on AI strategy, adoption or digital transformation
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience translating complex technology or AI concepts into clear business outcomes
- Experience leading workstreams, projects or small consulting teams
- Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience defining adoption, productivity or benefits measures and demonstrating tangible outcomes
- A good understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including the risks, ethical considerations and challenges associated with adoption
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and managing timelines, budgets or resources
- Relevant Microsoft, AI or technology certifications would be advantageous
- SC cleared or SC eligible candidates are particularly encouraged to apply

Location & travel
Office locations are available in:
- London
- Bristol
- Manchester
- Newcastle
- Glasgow
You can select the office location closest to you.
As this is a client-facing consulting role, you'll need to be comfortable travelling when a project requires it. This will typically be around 1–2 times per month, depending on the client and project. Some projects are remote whilst other assignments may require additional travel or time working from a client site, so flexibility is important.
