🚀 Senior Consultant – Digital Finance | Cryptoasset Regulation

📍 London / Hybrid | Minimum 3 days per week in the office
💼 Permanent | Full-time

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join a growing Digital Finance practice, with a particular focus on cryptoasset regulation and compliance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical experience in the cryptoasset sector who wants to work on a varied portfolio of advisory projects as the UK regulatory landscape continues to evolve.

The role

You’ll support and lead client engagements across areas including:

  • FCA cryptoasset registrations and future FSMA authorisation
  • Regulatory readiness and gap assessments
  • Regulatory change and implementation programmes
  • Governance, risk and compliance framework design
  • Financial crime, sanctions and fraud risk
  • Financial promotions and conduct risk
  • Prudential and operational resilience
  • Custody, client assets and technology controls
  • Market integrity and conflicts of interest
  • Compliance monitoring, assurance and remediation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with MiCA, FCA engagement, financial promotions, blockchain analytics, Travel Rule, custody/wallet infrastructure, payments, e-money, or banking would also be highly advantageous.

You don't need to be an expert across every aspect of the emerging regulatory framework - strong grounding in cryptoasset regulation and the ability to continue developing your expertise is what matters.
