The Role
Lead data workstreams or projects, ensuring strong delivery, stakeholder engagement and alignment with wider transformation outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead data workstreams or projects end-to-end (planning, governance, delivery)
- Shape data solutions including quality frameworks, reporting and integration approaches
- Manage risks, dependencies and priorities across complex data environments
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and lead workshops
- Coach and support junior team members, ensuring quality of outputs
- Drive adoption of data improvements, governance and ways of working
- Support bids, proposals and identification of new opportunities
- Contribute to internal capability, tools and thought leadership

This role sits at the Senior Consultant level within PACT's consulting career pathway (Analyst → Consultant → Senior Consultant → Lead → Principal), combining delivery leadership with deeper expertise and team responsibility.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting or data quality in complex environments
- Advanced SQL and experience working with structured datasets
- Experience developing dashboards (e.g. Power BI or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and ability to translate data into insights
- Experience managing workstreams and engaging stakeholders
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
Desirable
- Higher education or transformation programme experience
- Data migration, integration or governance experience
- Exposure to consultancy environments
