Summary
As a Senior Consultant in North Highland’s Public Sector Portfolio, you will contribute to the Public Sector growth strategy and deliver across complex client projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with North Highland’s Public Sector leadership team and develop your Consulting career with a focus on Defence and National Security.
You Will
- Contribute to both business development and client project delivery (business and technology transformation) across our Defence and Nat Sec Clients.
- Draw on your unique perspectives, personality, and creativity to think big about our clients’ challenges and develop creative solutions.
- Build expertise and deliver across North Highland’s range of capabilities: Strategy, Technology, Change Management, Business Analysis, Data & Analytics, and Strategic Program Management.
- Minimum of 2-3 days p/w on site unless otherwise needed by the project.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to junior consultants on client engagements.
- Showcase yourself as a Government & Public Sector thought leader by developing your professional network through association memberships, speaking, and writing engagements, and community activities.

Ideally, We'd Like
- Demonstrable management consulting or industry experience with a focus on Defence & National Security.
- An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.
- Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
- Superior self-awareness around personal strengths and growth opportunities.
- Generosity in sharing experiences, expertise, and insights to help others develop and grow.
- Proposal development experience and a proven ability to effectively sell business solutions to clients (nice to have).
- A demonstrated track record of delivering large, complex transformation engagements, including roles that involved building and fostering relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
- Hold the appropriate security clearance required to support UK National Security clients.
