From unresolved harm to measurable results.
Haemostasis™ | Originate. Advise. Deliver. Share in the Value.
Independent / Portfolio Opportunity | UK-wide | Fee Share
Help us solve the problems public services cannot afford to leave unresolved.
innov8law is building a select network of senior consultants to take Haemostasis™ into Government and Public Services.
Haemostasis™ is our proprietary approach to identifying unresolved organisational harm, quantifying its human, social and economic cost, diagnosing systemic causes and developing interventions designed to deliver measurable results.
At its heart is one question: What is unresolved organisational harm costing us?
Public-service organisations hold enormous amounts of information about things going wrong — complaints, claims, incidents, investigations, regulatory findings, workforce pressures, operational failures, financial losses and poor outcomes.
Too often these signals sit in different organisational silos.
Haemostasis™ brings them together to help leadership understand where harm is occurring, why it is happening, what it is costing and where intervention could create the greatest value.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional salaried consultancy role or an associate bench waiting for work to be allocated.
We are looking for senior people who want to help create the work.
Senior Consultants work with innov8law to:
- Identify opportunities
- Open trusted conversations
- Understand the problem
- Shape the intervention
- Win the work
- Participate in delivery
- Share in the value created
You may already have an established consultancy, advisory practice, NED portfolio or other professional interests. This opportunity is designed to complement them.
The Defining Requirement: Relationship Capital
Your greatest asset is not simply your CV. It is the combination of your experience, reputation, relationships and judgement.
We are particularly interested in senior professionals with current, trusted relationships across:
- Central Government
- NHS & Health
- Policing
- Justice
- Local Government
- Defence
- Arm's-Length Bodies
- Wider Public Services
We are especially interested in relationships at leadership and financial decision-making level, including:
- Permanent Secretaries
- Directors General
- CEOs
- CFOs & Finance Directors
- COOs
- SROs
- Board Members
- Commercial Directors
- Transformation Directors
- Senior Budget Holders
We are not measuring relationship capital by the size of your LinkedIn network.
We want to know:
- Who would take your call?
- Who would trust you enough to discuss a significant organisational problem?
- Can you bring leadership and finance into a conversation about the cost of leaving that problem unresolved?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Open trusted conversations with senior public-sector decision-makers;
- Identify where Haemostasis™ could provide measurable value;
- Bring leadership, finance and other relevant stakeholders into the conversation;
- Work with innov8law to qualify and shape opportunities;
- Help establish the strategic, organisational and financial case for intervention;
- Support conversion into paid diagnostics, pilots and wider transformation engagements; and
- Remain involved in client leadership and delivery where your expertise adds value.
You are not expected to provide an entire delivery team yourself.
Our Delivery Model
innov8law is deliberately not building a traditional consultancy with a large permanent delivery bench.
Instead, we combine:
- Our IP — the Haemostasis™ methodology, diagnostic architecture, Haemostasis Scorecard™, proposition and programme leadership.
- Your relationships and expertise — experienced professionals with the credibility to identify problems, engage decision-makers and help shape solutions.
- Collective delivery capability — established public-sector consultancy and professional-services providers through whom we can access specialist expertise, scalable resource and appropriate routes to market.
Our delivery ecosystem can bring together capability across:
- Finance
- Commercial & Procurement
- Digital & Data
- Technology
- Transformation
- Programme Delivery
- Governance
- Risk
- Legal & Regulatory
- Operations
- Organisational Development
Established public-sector providers can already offer multidisciplinary consultancy capability and Statement of Work services across these areas. Appropriate provider relationships can also provide existing public-sector routes to market rather than requiring innov8law to recreate that infrastructure.
Who Are We Looking For?
This opportunity is likely to suit someone who has already built a substantial career and wants to apply that experience differently.
You might be a:
- Former Senior Civil Servant
- C-suite Executive
- CFO / Finance Director
- Commercial Director
- Transformation Director
- Programme Director / SRO
- Senior Consultant
- Professional Services Partner
- Independent Advisor
You are likely to bring:
- Significant Government or wider public-sector experience;
- Established senior relationships, particularly with leadership and finance;
- Evidence of solving difficult organisational problems;
- Commercial and strategic judgement;
- Board, executive or SRO-level credibility;
- Specialist expertise relevant to public-service transformation; and
- The confidence to develop opportunities rather than wait for work to be allocated.
We are seeking the calibre of senior professional who has operated at Board/SRO level and can combine strategic, commercial, operational or transformation experience with genuine public-sector credibility. The benchmark profile we have considered demonstrates this through C-suite commercial/operational leadership, transformation, risk, programme assurance and public-sector/defence experience.
