Overview
We are seeking a Senior Consultant who can deliver practical, high-impact solutions to complex challenges. You will bring deep subject matter expertise, coupled with the ability to think independently and communicate clearly and concisely.
This role focuses on Commercial Insurance, Reinsurance, and Delegated Authority across the full value chain — including Underwriting, Risk Engineering, Distribution, Product Design, Policy, and Claims Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of accounts, projects and/or workstreams with the ability to understand the interplay between business and technology processes across an organisation.
- Conducting detailed analysis to guide the decision-making process that support innovative and pragmatic solutions.
- Mentoring junior consultants to increase industry specific knowledge and practical experiences across London market, UK Insurance and Reinsurance transformation – as well as sharing expertise with the internal UK team and wider.
- Contributing to thought leadership by conducting market and trend analyses to support business development and identify strategic opportunities for growth.
- Maintain and develop deep industry knowledge to keep a breadth of client needs and proactively recommend new and innovative solutions.

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a London Market / UK Insurance / Reinsurance / Insurtech or consultancy firm with exposure to Insurance / Reinsurance clients. While there is no fixed minimum threshold of experience required working in these sectors, candidates for these roles would typically have had exposure to these sectors (or equivalent relevant experience) for at least three years.
- Solid understanding of key technology platforms and solutions used in the insurance sector and ability to identify opportunities for technological and business improvements.
- Proven use of project management and effective change management skills to plan and lead work streams through the various phases of the project lifecycle.
- Hands-on expertise in target operating model and process design & development, project and stakeholder management as well as have the drive complete the deliverables to the highest standard.
- Superior quantitative and qualitative skills to identify complex problems, consider them analytically and conceptualise solutions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills to ensure effective communication with stakeholders at various levels across organisations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, MA) and/or additional qualifications being a plus.
