As a premium challenger consultancy – entrepreneurial, creative and values-driven – and part of the Havas network, we combine strategic clarity, transformation expertise and creative capability to help organisations deliver lasting impact.
Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I)
FS&I is a core and growing sector for Gate One. We work extensively with clients across the market, supporting organisations through large-scale transformation programmes spanning digital and technology transformation, data and AI transformation, operating model change, as well as people-led change and adoption programmes.
As our work in the insurance sector grows, we are seeking high-calibre Senior Consultants with insurance sector experience to deliver impactful client work and help strengthen our future prospects.
The Opportunity
Senior Consultants play a pivotal role at Gate One: shaping and driving workstreams, building client relationships, and applying strong consulting craft to deliver high-quality transformation outcomes.
You will take intellectual ownership of discrete areas of complex programmes, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to deliver clarity, pace and meaningful results. You will work closely with insurance clients while building your expertise across a range of transformation topics and contributing to the continued growth of Gate One's FS&I offering.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and wants to deepen their exposure to insurance transformation programmes while continuing to grow as a consultant.
You Will
- Lead and Contribute to High-Value Insurance Transformation Delivery
- Lead discrete workstreams within broader transformation programmes for insurance clients, shaping analysis, designing solutions and producing high-quality deliverables.
- Enabling our clients to achieve pragmatic, impactful and lasting transformation outcomes.
- Build trusted client relationships, contributing insight, structure and problem-solving to help clients navigate complex change.
- Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and client teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of client challenges across areas such as distribution, underwriting, claims, as well as functional transformation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
