🚀 Looking for your next challenge in Data Science & AI consulting? We're working with a leading global consultancy that is continuing to grow its Data & AI practice. We're looking for experienced Data Science professionals at Senior Consultant and Managing Consultant level to help leading brands unlock the value of their customer data through Data Science, Generative AI, Machine Learning and advanced analytics.
Working at the intersection of Customer Experience, Data and AI, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects spanning customer analytics, personalisation, marketing, digital, commercial analytics and emerging AI technologies. For more senior candidates, there is also the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, commercial development, sales opportunities and the leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, building and evaluating Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions across customer, marketing, digital and commercial use cases
- Developing and implementing Machine Learning models, including predictive, forecasting, classification and deep learning models
- Applying advanced Data Science to customer behaviour, marketing, commercial, web and product analytics
- Working with complex customer datasets including transactional/EPOS, digital, social and loyalty data
- Owning and delivering AI/ML POCs, MVPs and production-grade solutions from initial problem definition through to implementation and value delivery
- Leading cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges and develop valuable Data & AI products and solutions
- Working closely with clients and senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate technical outputs into clear, commercially relevant recommendations
- Using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to communicate insights effectively
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members and contributing to a strong Data Science and AI community
- Keeping up to date with developments across Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, Agentic AI and Data Science

For Managing Consultant Level
At Managing Consultant level, you'll also be expected to:
- Lead significant Data Science and AI engagements, taking responsibility for planning, delivery and client outcomes
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities across existing and prospective clients
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs, develop Statements of Work, cost engagements and support client negotiations
- Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Combine technical expertise with strong commercial and strategic thinking
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience in Data Science / AI, ideally within a consulting or client-facing environment
- 1–2+ years' hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM development and evaluation
- Strong experience building, evaluating and implementing Machine Learning models
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience across customer, marketing, commercial, web or product analytics, with a strong focus on Customer Experience
- Proven experience owning or leading end-to-end Data Science / AI projects, from identifying opportunities and shaping solutions through to delivery
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and data science / machine learning technologies
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with project and people management, including mentoring and developing team members
- For Managing Consultant level: experience with RFPs/RFIs, SOWs, engagement costing, client negotiations and identifying new business opportunities
- A genuine interest in the latest developments across AI, Data Science and Machine Learning

It Would Be a Bonus If You Have
- Experience within Consumer Products & Retail, Energy & Utilities, Telecommunications or Public Sector
- Experience developing or applying Agentic AI
- Knowledge of responsible and ethical AI principles
