Senior Consultant, Medical Affairs Strategic Advisory

Our Senior Consultant, Medical Affairs Strategic Advisory, is responsible for developing comprehensive intelligence, strategy, and impact measurement initiatives that support Medical Affairs objectives across the product lifecycle.

Operating mainly in Global and US markets, the role combines expertise in Medical Affairs, strategy development, and data analytics.

Our Senior Consultants develop impact measurement models, audience intelligence and analysis initiatives, and create integrated data and insight foundations for strategy formation.

A major aspect of the role is utilizing Prime's impact measurement methodology to develop models that demonstrate how medical activities help shape clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen healthcare systems. This work involves novel methods that sit at the forefront of how the industry measures and actions impact data.

Our Senior Consultants act as primary point of contact for clients, present insights and foster strong partnerships, ensuring collaboration across medical communications, evidence, creative, and technical teams.

Beyond client delivery, the role also supports business development by contributing to pitches. Success in this position requires a mix of analytical and creative skills, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience of strategic communications planning and/or strategy consulting within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Experience working on US domestic and Global programs preferred
  • Strong understanding of medical communications and regulatory requirements, particularly within the US market
  • Proven experience in big data strategy and analytics, in particular being able to link scientific objectives and behavior change
  • A high-level understanding of how innovative technologies can be used to design and execute omnichannel communication programs (e.g. AI, machine learning, next best action)
  • Formal training and/or experience in program evaluation methodologies (gained within or outside of healthcare) would be beneficial, but not essential
