Senior Consultant – Private Equity Middle Office Advisory

Location: London Bridge, London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Join an award-winning consultancy transforming the Private Markets industry.

At Holland Mountain, we help the world's leading private equity and alternative investment firms unlock the full value of their data. Combining deep consulting expertise with our award-winning ATLAS platform, we help clients modernise their middle office operations, improve portfolio monitoring capabilities and make better investment decisions.

Recognised as Best Advisory/Consultancy and Best Technology for Data at The 2026 Drawdown's PE Service Provider Awards, we're continuing to grow our Middle Office Advisory practice and are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to lead high-profile transformation programmes across the private equity industry.

The Opportunity

This is more than a project delivery role.

We're looking for someone who understands the operational challenges facing private equity firms and enjoys solving complex business problems. You'll work directly with senior client stakeholders, lead strategic transformation programmes and become a trusted advisor helping clients improve their middle office operating models, technology and data capabilities.

You'll balance strategic consulting with hands-on delivery while mentoring junior consultants, supporting business development and helping shape the continued growth of Holland Mountain's Middle Office practice.

What You'll Do

  • Lead consulting engagements for leading private equity firms and investment managers.
  • Deliver complex middle office transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation.
  • Lead client workshops, Steering Committees and executive stakeholder meetings.
  • Support portfolio monitoring platform implementations, vendor selections and operational reviews.
  • Analyse business processes, investment data flows and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage project workstreams, ensuring delivery to scope, quality and budget.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants, supporting their professional development.
  • Contribute to proposals, business development activities and growing existing client relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
