Job Summary

Specialize in the design and implementation of automated virtualization and container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures. The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Container Infrastructure Consultant to join us. In this role, you will learn to design and guide implementations of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure projects to include virtualization and container technologies. You won't be expected to know everything on day one, but your ability to learn new technology will be essential. This is a remote role based in London, UK, requiring the ability to travel to customer sites across the UK and EMEA region as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Implement automated, hybrid cloud application platform solutions focusing on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.
  • Build production-ready container and virtualization platforms integrated with existing enterprise systems.
  • Implement complex, large-scale container platform solutions in various customer environments.
  • Deliver expertise in container orchestration, registries, build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks. Support customers’ success with Red Hat technologies and concepts including Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, DevOps, and GitOps practices.
  • Collaborate alongside financial services, retail, telecommunications, and public sector clients.
  • Ensure the successful, collaborative delivery of customer requirements using Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Mentor fellow consultants on DevOps and GitOps paired with container technologies, while contributing lessons learned and best practices to internal and external communities of practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
