As an Oracle Payables Process Senior Consultant in Finance Transformation, you'll have the opportunity to:

Connect to your skills and professional experience
To be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate the following:
Essentials:
- Practical experience in Oracle ERP/Finance implementations, with hands-on experience across Purchase to Pay processes
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable and Expenses, including supplier data models, expense report processing, transaction processing (including Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) and associated accounting.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end Purchase to Pay process, including how upstream procurement, requisitioning, supplier management, and employee expense processes integrate with Accounts Payable. This encompasses understanding how Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) supports efficient invoice processing, and how payments and accounting flow downstream into Cash Management and General Ledger.
- Hands on experience in Oracle functional design and configuration, translating business requirements into solution designs and applying standard oracle functionality and leading practices.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, running process walkthroughs and supporting client workshops with Finance and business SME’s.
- Experience defining and supporting functional integration requirements between Oracle and upstream procurement/operational systems, banks, payment platforms and other applications relevant to Purchase to Pay.
- Good understanding of payables accounting, reconciliation and financial controls, with the ability to understand the accounting impact of Purchase to Pay transactions
- Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities and contribute to the design of simplified, Standardised Purchase to Pay processes, with the ability to identify potential use cases that improve productivity, automation and user experience across Purchase to Pay with practical experience of functional design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, deployment and go-live activities using delivery methodologies such waterfall, Agile.
- Experience developing and executing functional and end-to-end test scenarios, supporting defect resolution and ensuring solutions meet agreed business and functional requirements
- Ability to produce high quality functional design documentation, configuration documentation, process flows and other implementation deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate functional issues, assess solution options and work collaboratively with technical and cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with client SME’s and Finance stakeholders and clearly explain Oracle functionality and solution designs.
- Strong teamwork skills and experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary Oracle implementation teams.
- Ability to travel when required.
