🌿 Senior Consultant – Nature, Ecology & Biodiversity | London
MNRecruit is delighted to be helping hire a Senior Consultant – Nature, Ecology & Biodiversity for a growing consultancy in London. This is a great opportunity for an experienced ecology professional looking to take on meaningful work across biodiversity, nature and development projects, while playing an important role within a growing team.
The Role Includes:
- Leading ecology and biodiversity projects
- PEAs, BNG assessments, BREEAM ecology reports and protected species work
- BNG calculations using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
- UKHab, PEA and bat surveys
- Biodiversity mapping using QGIS
- Technical report writing and QA
- Client and stakeholder management
- Training and mentoring junior colleagues
- Supporting wider nature and sustainability projects

We're Looking for Someone with:
- Strong ecology/biodiversity consultancy experience
- A relevant scientific degree
- Good knowledge of BNG and the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
- Proficiency in QGIS
- Experience with PEAs, BNG and BREEAM ecology assessments
- Bat survey and protected species experience
- Full CIEEM membership
- Strong report writing and project management skills
- A genuine interest in delivering positive outcomes for nature
