We are seeking a solution-oriented Power Platform Specialist to join the UKFS Tax Transformation Office (TTO). You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting low-code solutions that accelerate the delivery of transformation initiatives aligned with leadership priorities. Working closely with business analysts, prompt engineers, and stakeholders across service lines, you will help deliver impactful automation and digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot and related technologies.
Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related tools) and Microsoft Copilot to address business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, prompt engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective digital solutions.
- Prototype, test, and iterate solutions to ensure they meet user needs and deliver measurable value.
- Document solution architecture, configuration, and best practices for reuse and knowledge sharing across service lines.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Power Platform solutions, gathering feedback and implementing enhancements.
- Provide regular, clear, and insightful updates to the Product Lead, ensuring they are fully informed of progress, risks, and opportunities relating to Power Platform activities and solution delivery.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and capability building on Power Platform within the TTO and across service lines.

Skills and attributes for success
What we look for
- Experience in designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective low-code solutions.
- Familiarity with automation, data integration, and digital transformation concepts.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience in low-code development, automation, or technology transformation environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver rapid solutions and iterate based on feedback.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving field.

Ideally, you’ll also have
- A university degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with EY Tax services is preferred.
