Senior Consultant - Procurement

£50,000-£70,000 (DOE) + benefits Hybrid working 2-3 days site based (office or client site) Manchester City Centre

Your new company:

Morson are partnering with a global consultancy business who are on the lookout for a Senior Consultant - Procurement. They deliver some of the world's largest and most complex capital investment programmes across sectors including infrastructure, real estate, energy, defence, utilities and life sciences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activities, from strategy development through to contract award, across complex projects and programmes.
  • Advise public and private sector clients on procurement best practice, commercial strategy and contract management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes while building strong client relationships.
  • Support business growth through bid preparation, client engagement and the ongoing development of procurement service offerings.

Key skills & qualifications:

  • Strong public sector procurement experience (preferred due to transparent procurement processes). Alternatively, high-quality private sector procurement experience.
  • End-to-end procurement expertise.
  • Experience across major construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing or negotiating NEC, JCT & FIDIC forms of contract would be advantageous.
  • Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards.
