Civiteq is a specialist consultancy working at the intersection of technology, change and public services. We support organisations delivering complex digital transformation programmes, including major ERP implementations. We help them to design, deliver and embed change that genuinely works for people.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Consultant - Programmes to lead complex client engagements and play a key role in the leadership of our delivery teams.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and take ownership of programme delivery from discovery through to closure. Alongside delivery, you'll help shape Civiteq's methodologies, develop our people, and identify opportunities to grow client relationships.
This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, visibility and influence and who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
Requirements
Programme leadership & client delivery
- Leading complex client programmes as a trusted and credible advisor
- Owning the planning and delivery of programmes in line with agreed Statements of Work
- Conducting discovery and diagnostic work, developing recommendations and delivery plans
- Leading programme governance, including Programme Boards and senior stakeholder engagement
- Managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Identifying and progressing follow-on opportunities with existing clients

Commercial & operational oversight
- Owning programme financials, ensuring delivery against resourcing and margin expectations
- Working closely with other Principal Consultants and Directors on resourcing and delivery planning
- Maintaining accurate programme data and reporting
- Contributing to Civiteq's strategic objectives and ways of working
Programme management expertise
You'll bring deep experience across the full programme lifecycle, including:
- Programme initiation and business case development
- Planning, resourcing and risk management
- Agile and/or waterfall delivery approaches
- Stakeholder management at senior and executive level
- Monitoring delivery, managing change, and closing programmes successfully
Experience in public sector transformation and ERP programmes is highly desirable
Experience
- Significant experience leading complex programmes in a consulting or delivery environment
- Proven ability to operate at senior stakeholder and SLT level
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing programme financials
- Experience building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Confidence leading teams and handling challenging delivery environments

- Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience). We are committed to offering salaries that are fair, competitive and aligned to experience and capability
- This role is fully remote, but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites. We aim to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person engagement
