UK Recruiters – what if your next career move could take you to Australia?

Propel is excited to be partnered with a global Executive Search firm with offices across the UK, USA and APAC, who are looking for Senior and Principal-level Recruitment Consultants currently based in the UK who are ready to relocate to Australia.

With opportunities available in Sydney or Melbourne, this is an opportunity to take your recruitment career overseas while joining an existing, successful team – meaning you won't be starting from scratch.

If you've built a strong billing track record in the UK, enjoy working in a consultative environment and are looking for a change of lifestyle without compromising your career, this could be the move for you.

Why Australia?

Moving to Australia doesn't have to mean putting your career on hold. You'll join an established Executive Search business with a growing presence across APAC, working alongside experienced consultants and leadership teams who are already building successful markets.

Whether you're drawn to the energy of Sydney or the lifestyle and culture of Melbourne, you'll have the opportunity to continue doing what you're good at – building relationships, winning business and delivering exceptional talent – just in a new market.

And importantly, you'll be joining an existing team rather than being expected to build an office from the ground up.

The Company

This is a global Executive Search firm specialising in mid-senior level through to C-Suite and Board appointments, with an international footprint across the UK, USA and APAC.

The Australian teams work across a broad range of specialist markets, including:

  • Construction & Built Environment
  • Architecture & Design
  • Mining & Natural Resources
  • Engineering
  • Life Sciences
  • Technology
  • Other specialist and high-growth markets

They are open to recruiters coming from a range of sectors, so your recruitment background doesn't need to perfectly match their existing markets.

You'll be joining a business that combines the infrastructure and reach of an international search firm with the culture and autonomy of a high-performing specialist team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
