Overview

AnotherDay are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Consultant to join our growing Risk Strategy consulting team in London.

This is a senior, client-facing advisory role focused on helping large and complex organisations understand, prioritise and manage strategic risk. Working directly with Executive Committees, Boards and senior leadership teams, you will provide independent advice on the risks that matter most to organisational resilience, performance and long-term success.

The role is centred around helping clients navigate uncertainty, volatility and disruption - supporting leaders to make informed decisions, prepare for high-impact scenarios, and strengthen their ability to respond to emerging threats and opportunities.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bring structured thinking, pragmatic challenge and strategic insight to organisations undergoing growth, transformation or heightened external pressures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting strategic risk assessments and horizon-scanning exercises to identify emerging geopolitical, economic, regulatory and operational risks.
  • Advising Executive Committees and senior leadership teams on strategic risk exposure, risk appetite and decision-making in complex environments.
  • Analysing organisational dependencies and vulnerabilities, including exposure arising from the loss of critical assets, systems, people or third-party suppliers.
  • Designing and enhancing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks that support effective governance and strategic decision-making.
  • Developing crisis management frameworks, escalation protocols and executive-level response playbooks.
  • Facilitating senior leadership workshops, scenario planning sessions and resilience reviews.
  • Producing high-quality Board and Executive Committee papers, reports and advisory outputs.
  • Leading and delivering crisis management exercises and simulations for senior stakeholders.
  • Providing trusted support to organisations during periods of strategic uncertainty, transformation or emerging crisis.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine interest in organisational resilience and decision-making.

You will likely have:

  • Experience in risk consulting, enterprise risk management, resilience, strategy, governance or a related advisory discipline.
  • A strong interest in how organisations succeed, fail and adapt under pressure.
  • The ability to think systemically and understand complex organisational interdependencies.
  • Confidence engaging with Executive Committees, Boards and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and incomplete information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience managing and delivering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the confidence to challenge constructively at senior levels.
