As a Senior Consultant in our ServiceNow practice, you will support the technical delivery and implementation of complex digital transformation programmes and platform enhancements.

You will translate business requirements and technical specifications into secure, scalable, and upgrade-safe ServiceNow solutions, collaborating closely with architects and client stakeholders. Working across multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will provide hands-on technical guidance, participate in design decisions, and build trusted relationships with day-to-day client peers. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to reusable platform assets, and support the development of proposals and estimations.

Key Responsibilities
Support the technical design and delivery of complex ServiceNow programmes or major workstreams, translating business outcomes and technical requirements into coherent solution designs.
Support clients and lead architects to shape platform roadmaps, architectural principles and key technical decisions aligned with enterprise strategy, security and technology standards.
Configure and build scalable, resilient and upgrade-safe solutions across ServiceNow workflows, data models, CMDB, integrations and the wider technology landscape.
Apply and follow architecture governance, design standards, quality gates and technical acceptance criteria across Deloitte, client and third-party delivery teams.
Participate in evaluating solution options and technical trade-offs, balancing business value, user experience, performance, scalability, maintainability, cost and risk.
Provide hands-on technical guidance through design reviews, development support, code reviews and resolution of technical delivery issues.
Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders, clearly explaining technical options, configurations and expected transformation value.
Coach and mentor administrators and developers, promoting consistent delivery standards, knowledge sharing and effective use of reusable assets.
Support client propositions, bids, estimations and project delivery by contributing technical insight and relevant experience.

Connect to your skills and professional experience
Essential skills:
Strong experience configuring and delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions, including experience in technical stream lead or senior developer roles.
Solid knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and relevant product areas, with the ability to build solutions across multiple workflows and modules.
Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, platform APIs, REST/SOAP web services, integration patterns, data modelling and integration technologies.
Experience configuring CMDB, configuration management and service-management solutions, supported by a sound understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.
Proven ability to align with architecture roadmaps and governance, make evidence-based technical recommendations and deliver secure, scalable, maintainable and upgrade-safe solutions
Strong consulting, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to explain technical choices to business and technology audiences.
Experience coaching and mentoring developers and administrators within Agile, product-centric or modern engineering environments.

Desirable skills:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more product streams (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITAM)
ITIL Foundation or Agile methodology certifications (e.g., Scrum Master)
Experience contributing to ServiceNow platform health checks, release upgrades, or instance consolidation projects
Experience supporting sales bids, scoping out client user stories, and preparing level-of-effort (LOE) estimates
