Role Description

The Senior Consultant - Statistics (RWE & Evidence Synthesis) is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the design, execution, and interpretation of statistical analyses for real-world evidence and evidence synthesis projects. This role includes developing analysis plans, selecting appropriate statistical methods, and performing advanced modeling for observational studies, meta-analyses, ITC and other HEOR-related projects. The Senior Consultant collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including epidemiologists, health economists, and medical writers, to ensure methodological rigor and clear communication of findings. Day-to-day responsibilities involve data management, quality checks, implementation of statistical code, documentation of methods, and preparation of technical reports and client-ready deliverables. The role also contributes to methodological innovation, supports business development efforts with scientific input, and mentors junior team members.

  • Strong statistical and methodological skills in the context of RWE and evidence synthesis, including ITC, study design, advanced regression modeling, and meta-analysis techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical programming tools (e.g., R, SAS, or similar) for data manipulation, analysis, and reproducible research workflows.
  • Knowledge of epidemiology, HEOR principles, and real-world data sources such as claims, electronic health records, or registries.
  • Ability to translate complex statistical concepts into clear narratives and visualizations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in remote, multidisciplinary teams and to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in consulting, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare analytics environments is highly beneficial.
