Role: Senior Consultant

As Senior Consultant, you will lead analytics workstreams on client engagements focused on market strategy, ensuring deliverables and client experience are consistently of the highest calibre. You will also provide direction to junior team members, motivating and inspiring them to do their best work.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days in our London office and the rest from home.

Your Day to Day

These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:

  • Own analytics workstreams end-to-end: scoping, solution design, data planning, timelines and stakeholder alignment for market and brand engagements.
  • Lead market sizing and opportunity assessment: aggregating and reconciling multiple data sources to build robust, defensible views of market structure and growth potential.
  • Build commercial models that support strategic decisions, including portfolio and innovation sizing, pricing scenarios and ROI trade-offs.
  • Translate ambiguous client briefs into clear analytical hypotheses, selecting the right methods and justifying trade-offs.
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance: validation checks, sensitivity testing and sign-off on outputs.

Winning and delivering work

  • Engage with clients to build awareness of our capabilities, joining briefing calls and presenting credentials.
  • Contribute fresh thinking to proposals and pitches, bringing a distinctive perspective to each challenge.
  • Present findings to clients with compelling narratives that move from insight to action.

Coaching and developing the team

  • Mentor and supervise junior analysts, setting standards and quality bars.
  • Provide clear expectations and regular, timely feedback to support continuous learning.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working in analytics, marketing science, consulting, strategy, or related commercial environments.
  • Experience delivering analytical projects that bring together multiple data sources to support business decision-making.
  • Experience conducting market sizing, market assessment, opportunity identification, or commercial analysis.
  • Experience developing business cases, financial models, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Experience working across multiple projects, teams, or stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to aggregate, analyse and synthesise data from a range of sources, including industry, survey, financial and internal datasets.
  • Financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis, sensitivity testing and commercial evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or comparable analytical tools for data ingestion, analysis and modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify insights and translate them into practical recommendations.
  • Ability to develop clear visualisations and communicate findings through concise, audience-appropriate narratives.
  • Project management skills, including planning, prioritisation and delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
