Role Title: Senior Consultant, JDE MS Functional Distribution & Finance

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: Competitive salary and package dependent on experience

We are currently hiring a JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Distribution Consultant to join our Managed Services team, supporting clients across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact JDE Distribution support and enhancement projects, playing a key role in driving business success for our global client base.

You will act as a subject matter expert for JDE Distribution modules, delivering day-to-day functional support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Your role will involve issue resolution, user guidance, process optimization, and participation in key ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional support for JD Edwards Distribution modules, ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and analyse system issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Guide business users in the adoption of JDE best practices and standard processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CNC, developers, and DBAs, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in ERP initiatives such as new implementations, system upgrades, and functional enhancements:
    • Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, and system enhancements.
    • Perform system and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Provide post-implementation support and end-user training.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with change control procedures.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in JD Edwards application support or functional consulting, specifically in Distribution modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management or related JDE modules is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of Distribution business processes and operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
  • Confidence in working with experienced JDE end users and adaptability to diverse client environments.
