UK Tech Solutions Manager – Wealth FinTech
Permanent | London | Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 remote
£120,000–£175,000 base + package
Hawksworth are representing a leading global Wealth FinTech and technology platform provider to recruit a UK Tech Solutions Manager to lead its UK Technical Solutions/Consulting capability.
This is a senior, client-facing technology leadership role for someone who has managed Technical Consultants and/or Solution Architects and has a strong background delivering and integrating complex technology platforms within Financial Services.
You will lead a team of experienced Technical Consultants, while remaining close to clients and technology – leading technical discovery, understanding complex client requirements, shaping solution designs and overseeing the successful integration of the firm's SaaS technology and APIs into client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Technical Managers, Senior Technical Consultants and technical specialists
- Lead complex technical discovery and requirements definition with Financial Services clients
- Translate business and technology requirements into scalable, practical solution and integration designs
- Guide clients through the integration and implementation of FinTech/SaaS platforms, APIs and cloud-based technology
- Provide senior technical leadership during complex client implementations and help resolve integration and solution challenges
- Build strong relationships with senior client technology stakeholders, including CTOs and Heads of Technology
- Manage consulting capacity, utilisation, forecasting and delivery priorities across the UK/EMEA
- Work closely with Engineering, Product and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically robust and achievable

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing Technical Consultants, Solution Architects or a similar client-facing technical team
- Strong background in technical consulting, technology implementation, solution integration or solution architecture
- Experience delivering complex technology solutions into Financial Services organisations
- Ideally experience within Wealth Management, Investment Platforms, Pensions or FinTech
- Strong experience of systems/platform integration, APIs and SaaS/cloud technology
- Good understanding of modern software engineering and cloud environments – AWS experience would be advantageous
- Strong technical discovery and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to turn complex requirements into workable technology solutions
- Comfortable operating between clients, technology teams and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and credibility with senior technology audiences
