Position
A high-profile opportunity is available to join a Super Premium drinks business as Senior Consumer Insight and Category Manager. This role involves dual responsibilities in leading Category Management and consumer insight, focusing on meeting shoppers’ needs and consumers’ needs to drive category & brand performance. The role aims to be a ‘Strategic thought partner at MHUK’, meaning the individual should have a holistic & deep understanding of the brands’ strategies and their consumers, occasions, competitors, and in-market performance. This enables them to bring an informed and objective point of view to the business to support the development of effective brand strategies and activations.

Profile
Qualifications:
- Strong background and experience in category development with an appreciation for luxury
- A strong working knowledge of UK retail operations
- Practical experience of the category management process – 6-8 years’ experience
- Experience of leading Range Reviews, Space Planning, and Merchandising Projects
- Strong business acumen and commercial skills
- A strong understanding of the latest shopper/market insight techniques
- Experience of Nielsen Discover, Dunnhumby, Sainsbury’s Nectar 360, and planogram software is an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to translate to insight
- First-class interpersonal skills and communication including distilling info into clear, compelling presentations & stories
