About the Role
The Handbook is looking for a creative, data-driven, and highly engaging Senior Content Creator & Social Media Strategist to become the face and voice of our brand across all social channels. This is not a traditional behind-the-scenes social media management role. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of social content—from ideation and scripting to filming, editing, and publishing—while regularly appearing on-camera. You must possess a deep, strategic understanding of the algorithms powering TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, backed by a proven track record of scaling digital communities.
Key Responsibilities
On-Camera & Content Production
- On-Camera Hosting: Serve as the primary on-camera personality, presenting features, hosting social videos, and conducting interviews with an authentic, confident, and charismatic presence.
- End-to-End Creation: Concept, script, film, and edit high-quality, native short-form and long-form video content daily.
- Platform Optimisation: Tailor content formats specifically to maximise engagement across TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), YouTube, and emerging channels.
Social Strategy & Audience Growth
- Channel Scaling: Execute proven organic growth strategies to expand our follower base, boost engagement rates, and foster an active, loyal community.
- Algorithm Mastery: Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, feature updates, and viral audio to ensure our content maintains high visibility and organic reach.
- Performance Analytics: Routinely track, analyse, and report on video metrics (watch time, retention, shares) to refine our content strategy based on hard data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
