Senior Content Marketing Lead

Department: Marketing - Content & Brand

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Zinc - London

Compensation: £70,000 - £80,000 / year

Description

Zinc builds candidate screening and compliance tools that help hiring businesses make safer, faster hiring decisions. We're scaling quickly past £50m ARR, and our marketing is moving from a channel-led function to a brand and story-led growth engine.

The Role:

We're looking for a hands-on content leader to own how Zinc tells its story. You'll set the creative and strategic direction for our content, from campaign concepts and messaging to thought leadership, case studies and video, and you'll build the frameworks and processes that let the team scale it.

Our remit is growing into UK mid-market, global hiring businesses and enterprise cross-sell and upsell. That needs dedicated, multi-medium campaign content across the whole customer lifecycle. You'll lead it, and you'll still be close to the work.

Key Responsibilities 🗝️

  • Operationalise content production across the marketing team, so quality and pace hold up as we grow 📈
  • Build and run a 12-month editorial calendar covering every stage of the customer lifecycle
  • Lead campaign and content creation across mediums, including video, thought leadership, research, case studies and PR
  • Set the brief, rather than write to one, and own content strategy and messaging for each customer segment 💼
  • Manage and coach a small content team, plus external freelancers
  • Support our wider brand marketing and content strategy
  • Tie content back to commercial outcomes: pipeline, revenue and share of voice 🎙️

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
