Senior Content Platform Manager

Join us as a Senior Content Platform Manager where you’ll shape the future of sales enablement by leading the vision, strategy, and evolution of the bank’s content and sales enablement ecosystem, including platforms such as Highspot. Acting as the driving force behind content excellence, this role ensures relationship teams, specialist sales teams, and proposition teams can effortlessly discover trusted, up-to-date, and compliant content that empowers meaningful client conversations, strengthens relationships, and fuels commercial growth.

Working at the intersection of Propositions, Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Compliance, and Operations, the Senior Content Platform Manager brings together people, processes, and technology to create a seamless content experience. The role champions platform innovation, establishes governance and content standards, accelerates user adoption, and continuously enhances capabilities to maximise business impact.

As the strategic owner of Highspot today—and a key architect of the future sales enablement landscape—the role will define and deliver the next generation of enterprise content platforms. By creating a single, intelligent source of truth for content, insights, and performance measurement, the Senior Content Platform Manager will help transform how teams engage clients, unlock opportunities, and drive sustainable growth across the business.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Experience owning or administering enterprise content platforms such as Highspot, Seismic, SharePoint, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of content governance, content lifecycle management, and sales enablement practices.
  • Experience translating business strategy and user needs into platform strategy, roadmaps, and requirements.
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale user adoption and change management programmes.
  • Experience working across integrated technology ecosystems, with an understanding of how sales enablement platforms connect with CRM, content repositories, collaboration, and productivity tools.
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills across matrix organisations.

Desirable Skills Include

  • Experience within Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Financial Services.
  • Knowledge of proposition management, sales enablement, and go-to-market disciplines.
  • Experience working with content analytics, AI-powered content recommendations, and search optimisation.
  • Familiarity with digital workplace and collaboration technologies.
  • Experience leading platform implementations or major capability enhancements.

This role will be based in London.

Purpose of the role

To take responsibility for end-to-end local Platform management including strategy design & execution, scalable and stable platform for client & colleagues, regulatory risk mitigation & management, platform development.

Accountabilities

  • Business ownership of system, processes & procedures on the platform and end-to-end client journey management, oversight, business continuity & service recovery.
  • Management, understanding, and interpretation of local & group regulatory requirements & standards.
  • Driving Platform strategy and change agenda, seeking innovative solutions to differentiate, streamline, and de-risk the platform to directly contribute to client experience, Banker efficiency, and managing/reducing regulatory risk.
  • Using KPIs and data to monitor and measure the platform effectiveness and change improvements.
  • Managing, reporting, and representing the platform performance at relevant governance fora.
  • External (where required) and internal stakeholder management including regulators, senior leaders, client-facing colleagues, and infrastructure partners.
  • Provision of guidance, coaching, and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality.

Vice President Expectations

  • To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
  • If managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance, and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long-term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard. The four LEAD behaviours are:

  • OR for an individual contributor, they will be a subject matter expert within their own discipline and will guide technical direction. They will lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments. They will train, guide, and coach less experienced specialists and provide information affecting long-term profits, organisational risks, and strategic decisions.
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work their team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem-solving processes.
  • Seek out, build, and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
