Who We Are Looking For
The Senior Producer is responsible for the end-to-end production and delivery of video and event content across mccglc's live experiences, events, and client projects.
Video production is the primary focus of this role. You will take creative and strategic direction and help turn ideas into compelling, technically robust, and deliverable content. From early concept development, scripting, and storyboarding through pre-production, filming, editing, animation, approvals, and final delivery.
The role extends beyond video into the wider content ecosystem required to support live events and experiences, including presentations, screen content, motion graphics, event films, speaker content, interviews, content capture, and post-event content.
Working closely with Strategy, Creative, Head of Video, Design, and Live Event Production, you will act as the production owner for assigned content workstreams. You will be responsible for ensuring that content is creatively strong, strategically aligned, commercially viable, technically appropriate, and delivered to the required standard.
The role also requires strong project and client management skills. On selected projects, you may act as the day-to-day client lead, managing relationships, expectations, communication, scope, budgets, and timelines alongside your production responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Own the end-to-end production of video projects from initial brief through to final delivery.
- Translate strategic and creative direction into clear, compelling, and achievable video production solutions.
- Work with Strategy and Creative to develop concepts, treatments, scripts, and storyboards.
- Provide production expertise and constructive challenge throughout the creative development process.
- Develop appropriate production approaches, methodologies, schedules, and budgets.
- Source, brief, and manage editors, motion designers, animators, photographers, sound designers, voice artists, and other specialist suppliers.
- Manage the post-production process from the first edit through to the final master.
- Manage feedback, amends, and approval rounds, ensuring content remains aligned with the agreed brief, budget, and timeline.
- Ensure final content is delivered in the correct formats and specifications for its intended platform, screen, or environment.
Event Content Production
- Lead the production of content created specifically for live events and experiences, e.g., event films, opening films, speaker films, interviews, presentations, animations, motion graphics, screen content, and other multimedia assets.
- Work closely with the Live Event Producer to ensure content is designed and produced appropriately for the live environment.
- Understand and account for screen specifications, playback requirements, aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, audio, and other technical considerations.
- Coordinate content rehearsals, playback testing, and technical checks where required.
- Plan and manage event content capture, including interviews, photography, and video.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose event content for post-event communications and future client use.
- Manage the production of same-day or rapid-turnaround content where required.
- Ensure event content is delivered in line with the overall creative, strategic, and production approach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
