Senior Contract Manager

12-Month Contract | London | Hybrid/Remote

MLA is supporting a global infrastructure and technology business on the appointment of a Senior Contract Manager to join a growing international Contract Management team. This is a high-impact role offering significant exposure across EMEA and APAC, working closely with senior leadership and helping shape the future of a rapidly evolving contract management function.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Head of Contract Management for EMEA & APAC, you will act as a trusted partner within the team, supporting both day-to-day contract activity and wider transformation initiatives.

The business has grown significantly through acquisition, creating a diverse and complex contractual landscape across multiple jurisdictions. As a result, there is a real opportunity to add value by improving processes, enhancing governance, supporting contract data integrity, and driving greater operational efficiency.

You'll work alongside Legal, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other business stakeholders within a highly international and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from drafting through to execution and ongoing administration
  • Review, prepare, and amend a range of commercial agreements, service agreements, and contract amendments
  • Identify contractual risks and recommend practical solutions
  • Act as an escalation point for complex contractual matters
  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure data integrity across contract management systems
  • Support contract migrations, novations, and contract remediation projects
  • Partner closely with Legal and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal policies and governance standards
  • Drive improvements to contract management processes, controls, and workflows
  • Produce reporting and insights to support decision-making and operational performance
  • Help develop best practices, knowledge-sharing, and team capability
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of junior team members where required
  • Contribute to wider transformation, automation, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience within contract management, commercial contracts, or legal operations
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and commercial contracting principles
  • Experience operating within large, complex, or multinational organizations
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering closely with Legal teams
  • Previous exposure to CLM platforms and contract management systems
  • Comfortable working across both strategic projects and administrative contract activities
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
