Join us in this role

Join us in this role, where you'll take ownership of live supplier contracts from demand planning through to close-out. You'll proactively manage contractual and commercial risks, oversee claims and variations, and use performance insights to drive supplier accountability and deliver safe, reliable, and value-adding outcomes.

You'll become part of the UK Contract Management team within Generation Procurement. Here, we work across regions to maximise value from our operational offshore wind portfolio in the UK through strong contract management, commercial insight, and close collaboration with technical and operational experts. We succeed through teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a continuous focus on improving how we work.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Developing strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues, working towards mutual success through the enablement of contractual obligations.
  • Providing clear contractual advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively managing risk and seeking commercial optimisation opportunities from our contracts.
  • Managing the rights, KPIs, obligations, and performance metrics in our contracts, supporting with optimisation of contract strategy and risk mitigation.
  • End-to-end management and facilitation of our contracts including pipeline demand, scope facilitation, commercial levers, performance reviews, disputes, negotiations, and contract close out.
  • Collaborating across the Commercial and Operational teams to optimise asset profitability and value creation (EBITDA and NPV).
  • Contributing to the development of contract management frameworks, governance, tools, and best practices across the organisation.
  • Mentoring colleagues and promoting a culture of collaboration, inclusion, integrity, and safety.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have substantial experience in contract management, claims management, commercial negotiations, or a similar discipline with transferable skills.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrable track record of providing evidence-based assessments and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have commercial and operational insight, negotiation experience, and an understanding of the levers for improving the financial performance of assets through contractual levers.
  • Have proven supplier relationship management skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners whilst maintaining contractual and business objectives.
  • Have a structured and analytical approach to your work, with a keen eye for detail enabling you to manoeuvre and deliver business-critical, value-adding results.
  • Excel in relationship management, building and maintaining strong partnerships coupled with strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external stakeholders across a wide breadth of activities in relation to contract management.

Position salary range

59,200.00 - 88,800.00 + pension + benefits
