About Us
Novo Flooring is a growing contracting business delivering high-quality flooring solutions across commercial and residential projects. As we continue to expand our project pipeline, we're looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in East Peckham, Kent, and take ownership of the successful delivery of our contracts from award through to completion.
The Role
As Senior Contracts Manager, you'll take full commercial and operational responsibility for a portfolio of contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the standard our clients expect. You'll be the key point of contact between clients, site teams, and subcontractors, and will play a central role in maintaining Novo Flooring's reputation for quality and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from mobilisation through to final account and close-out
- Overseeing project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation to protect margins and delivery timescales
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, main contractors, and supply chain partners
- Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, to specification, and in compliance with relevant standards
- Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk, including variations, claims, and disputes
- Supporting the wider business in tendering and securing future work
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements (including Building Safety Act obligations where applicable)
- Reporting project performance and commercial position to senior management

About You
- A proven track record of successfully delivering high-value projects within a contracting business
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with the confidence to manage budgets, variations, and client relationships
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Experience within the construction industry is preferable, though candidates with a strong contracting background from other sectors are welcome to apply
- A full UK driving licence, as travel to project sites will be required
