Senior Contracts Manager
LearningPlus, part of PeoplePlus, delivers skills and vocational training that helps learners aged 19yrs and over gain qualifications and move into sustainable work, many of them from areas where access to good training has been limited. We are looking for a senior contracts manager to lead delivery on designated contracts within Central England and deputise for the Divisional Managing Director when needed.
Responsibilities
- Line manage the business development, delivery, and internal quality teams on your contracts.
- Ensure learners are eligible and suitable for their courses, supported through every stage of their learner journey, and taught to at least a "good" standard under the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
- Own the delivery schedule, manage budgets and learner starts against contract targets.
- Carry out compliance audits, learning walks, and observations of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Coach other contract managers.
- Look for new business and better ways of working.

Requirements
- Substantial experience of managing skills and vocational training within an FE and skills provider.
- Experience working in an independent training provider during Ofsted inspection.
- Proven track record of leading teams against KPIs.
- Experience in auditing for quality and compliance.
- Confidence in collating and presenting data.
- A designated safeguarding officer, IQA, or level 4 teaching qualification would be an advantage.

Job Details
- Hours: 37.5 hours a week
- Location: Birmingham, with some travel as the business requires
- Salary: Up to £43,000

- Requirements: Satisfactory DBS check, two references, and proof of right to work.
