As Senior Conversion Rate Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us understand customer behaviour, uncover commercial opportunities, and optimise every stage of the digital customer journey. Working across Marketing, Ecommerce, Product and Commercial teams, you'll combine deep analytical expertise with commercial thinking to identify opportunities that improve conversion, increase revenue and enhance customer experience.
Your mission
Your mission is to maximise digital conversion performance across the Awaze portfolio by turning customer behaviour into commercially actionable insight.
- You'll own the analysis of customer journeys from acquisition through to booking, identifying friction points, diagnosing performance issues and providing evidence-based recommendations that improve conversion and commercial outcomes.
- As the organisation's expert in digital funnel analysis, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure decisions are driven by robust analytics rather than opinion. Combining hands-on technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, you'll transform complex data into compelling stories that influence senior stakeholders and deliver measurable business impact.
- You'll also champion AI-driven opportunities within conversion and customer analytics, identifying innovative ways to enhance insight generation, accelerate analysis, improve predictive capabilities and enable smarter, faster commercial decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Own end-to-end conversion analysis across our digital customer journeys, identifying opportunities to improve booking conversion and commercial performance.
- Use Google Analytics 4, SQL and other analytical tools to interrogate customer behaviour across acquisition, onsite engagement and conversion funnels.
- Define specifications for robust funnel reporting that highlights customer drop-off, behavioural trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Analyse customer journeys across devices, channels, markets and brands to understand what drives conversion.
- Partner with Product, Ecommerce, Marketing and Commercial teams to prioritise optimisation opportunities based on commercial impact.
- Produce clear, compelling insights that translate complex analysis into practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by partnering with Product teams to define experiments, analyse results and quantify business impact.
- Define requirements for dashboards and automated reporting that provide visibility of conversion performance and key commercial KPIs.
- Identify emerging customer behaviour trends and proactively recommend actions to improve digital performance.
- Ensure data quality within GA4 and other analytics platforms, working closely with Engineering and Data teams to maintain trusted measurement.
- Champion best practice in digital analytics, customer journey measurement and conversion optimisation across the business.
- Identify and evaluate AI-driven opportunities that improve customer insight, forecasting and commercial performance.
- Leverage AI-enabled analytics tools to accelerate analysis, uncover behavioural patterns and improve the efficiency and scalability of conversion insights.
- Mentor analysts and contribute to raising analytical capability across the wider organisation.

Who we're looking for
You'll thrive in this role if you're naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about understanding customer behaviour. You enjoy solving complex business problems with data and are confident influencing stakeholders through evidence rather than opinion.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Significant experience in a Senior Digital Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimisation or Ecommerce Analytics role.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, including event models, user journeys, custom reporting and conversion measurement.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to interrogate large datasets, build reusable queries and uncover commercially valuable insights.
- Extensive experience analysing digital conversion funnels and diagnosing customer drop-off across complex ecommerce journeys.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, attribution and customer acquisition performance.
- Experience supporting experimentation and A/B testing programmes, including statistical interpretation and commercial evaluation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis through clear, impactful data storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of influencing decisions that improve revenue, conversion or customer experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Product, Marketing, Commercial and Technology teams.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently while influencing multiple teams and priorities.
- An interest in emerging AI technologies and a proven ability to identify and apply AI-driven solutions that enhance digital analytics, customer insight and commercial decision-making.
It will be a bonus if you have:
- Experience working in travel, ecommerce or another high-volume digital consumer business.
- Knowledge of BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses.
- Experience building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
- Experience working across multiple international markets and brands.
