Senior Conveyancer (CLC / CILEX / Solicitor / Experienced Conveyancer)
Chester (Hybrid Working)
Up to £55,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a rapidly growing specialist property business based in Chester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, forward-thinking organisation that combines legal expertise with innovative technology. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you will become a key member of a small, collaborative team handling a steady flow of residential property transactions.
The firm specialises in probate sales, divorce-related transactions, transfers of equity and residential conveyancing matters.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to post-completion, supported by a dedicated onboarding team who undertake AML checks, client onboarding and initial data gathering before files are handed over.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Managing transfers of equity, remortgages and probate-related transactions
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
- Maintaining high standards of client service and file management
- Working closely with the Head of Legal as a senior member of the team
- Assisting with post-completion matters where required
About You
- At least 3-5 years' residential conveyancing experience
- Experience managing your own caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A practical, team-focused approach
- Experience working in a volume conveyancing environment
- Comfortable using modern technology and case management systems
- CLC, CILEX, Solicitor qualification or equivalent residential conveyancing experience

The role is based in Chester with hybrid working available. Following an initial onboarding period, office attendance will be required 2-4 times per month. Initial training will take place in Chester.
