Senior Conveyancing Assistant
Bristol
Salary: up to £35k DOE
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded law firm with the recruitment of an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Senior Conveyancing Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced property environment, providing hands-on support to conveyancers and delivering a high standard of service to clients throughout the residential property transaction.
As a Senior Conveyancing Assistant in Bristol, you will play an important role in progressing residential property matters, communicating with clients and third parties, maintaining accurate case records, and supporting the wider conveyancing team.
This is what you will be doing
- Supporting Conveyancers with the progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, handling queries, and ensuring a consistently high standard of client care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on the case management system and ensuring matters progress in accordance with internal procedures.
- Completing administrative and transaction-related tasks, including handling client monies in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Supporting colleagues within the Residential Conveyancing team, including assisting with the training and development of other staff where required.

The experience you will bring to the team
- Previous experience working within Residential Conveyancing, ideally as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Senior Conveyancing Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and the ability to work effectively within a high-volume environment.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management systems. Experience using SOS Connect would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner.
- The ability to work independently, use your own initiative, prioritize workloads, and provide excellent service to clients and colleagues.
