Senior Conveyancing Paralegal
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Cheltenham
Type: Full-time
TSR Legal are delighted to be supporting a well established law firm with the appointment of an experienced Senior Paralegal to join their conveyancing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing paralegal with 24 years' relevant experience who is confident working independently and is looking for a position where they can take ownership of their work while providing high-level support to a senior fee earner.
The successful candidate will play an important role within the team, taking responsibility for progressing matters and ensuring transactions move forward efficiently, while working closely with a senior fee earner.
The Role
Working alongside a senior fee earner, you will be responsible for independently managing and progressing your own workload and providing comprehensive support across a residential conveyancing caseload.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently progressing residential conveyancing matters
- Supporting a senior fee earner with a varied caseload
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and other residential property matters
- Managing client communication and providing regular updates
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Reviewing title documentation and searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Managing exchange and completion requirements
- Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within required timescales
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
- Assisting with post-completion requirements
- Identifying issues and escalating appropriately where required
- Providing a high level of client service throughout the conveyancing process

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 24 years' experience within residential conveyancing
- Strong practical knowledge of the conveyancing process
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience supporting a senior fee earner or solicitor
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and third parties
- Good understanding of title, searches, enquiries, exchange and completion
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of matters
- The ability to recognise when an issue needs to be escalated to the supervising fee earner

This role is particularly suited to a Senior Conveyancing Paralegal or experienced Conveyancing Paralegal who is already comfortable progressing matters with a good level of autonomy.
