Senior Copywriter – 6 months FTC
Shape the tone of one of the UK's best-loved culture brands — and put your copy in front of millions of customers a year.
Nando's copy shows up everywhere: menus, apps, socials, restaurants, campaigns, even our own internal magazine. As Senior Copywriter, you'll sit at the heart of our in-house creative studio, championing the voice that makes us famous and pushing it forward — turning any brief, however ordinary, into something original, funny and unmistakably Nando's.
A Bit About Us...
Ask people where Nando's comes from and you'll get a different answer every time. Portugal? Mexico? The UK? Our story actually starts in Rosettenville, a Portuguese neighbourhood in Johannesburg, South Africa — with stops in Mozambique and the UK along the way. It was 1987 when Robbie Brozin and Fernando Duarte opened their first restaurant. Then another. And another. Fast forward to today and we've got over 480 restaurants (and counting), a bestselling hot sauce, and a place in British culture as familiar as a cup of tea.
We're a growing family of 20,000 Nandocas (what we call our employees), fuelled by our values: Pride, Passion, Integrity, Courage and Family. Inspired by our Southern African heritage, we know and value the richness diversity brings — so we're committed to building an inclusive, respectful culture for all.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
