- Hybrid - A well-established international financial institution is currently recruiting a Senior Corporate Account Officer to join its Business Promotion Japanese Department in London.
The Senior Corporate Account Officer will be responsible for managing relationships with Japanese corporate clients in Europe, identifying business opportunities, and developing financial solutions tailored to client needs. The role will also support corporate finance, deposit-taking, credit, and internal control activities.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant client-facing, credit analysis, or corporate finance experience, together with fluent Japanese and English communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing Japanese corporate clients and identify new business opportunities
- Collect and analyse client information and develop tailored business and financial solutions
- Promote the Bank’s corporate finance, deposit-taking, and related products and services
- Develop new clients and promote products and services of the Bank and affiliated companies
- Provide credit and administrative support for loans, foreign exchange, deposits, fund transfers, and other services
- Prepare company information reports and other business materials for clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other product departments, Head Office, and branches to support client needs and team activities

Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client-facing, credit analysis, or administration role within corporate finance at a financial institution, or client-facing experience in consultancy
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese and English
- Superior communication skills with clients, senior colleagues, and peers
- Good educational background
- Strong analytical and relationship management skills
- Ability to proactively identify client needs and develop appropriate proposals
- Experience working with corporate clients is advantageous

Conditions
- Location: London
- Working Style: hybrid (within each 4-week period, employees are allowed to work no more than 8 days from home)
- Salary: up to £68,000 per annum depending on experience
- Job Type: permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
- Start: negotiable
