Director of Strategy and Corporate Development

About Us

As the UK's favourite property platform, we're always looking ahead - exploring new opportunities, solving complex challenges, and shaping the future of the Proptech market. To help us do that, we're hiring a Senior Corporate Development Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

In this highly visible role, you will partner with the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development, Chief Strategy Officer, and executive leadership to shape and execute Rightmove’s long-term growth agenda.

You will lead the evaluation of high impact growth opportunities and strategic priorities, identifying the optimal strategic pathway across organic build, strategic partnerships, minority investments, acquisitions, and portfolio optimization.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence senior business decisions and contribute directly to our strategic direction:

  • Strategic assessment: Frame complex business opportunities and challenges, evaluate strategic options, and appraise solutions across Build, Buy, and Partner pathways.
  • End to end transaction management: Drive senior stakeholder engagement and orchestrate all steps of the transaction lifecycle across strategic rationale, market screening, due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, and deal execution with external advisors and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Integration and Value Creation Strategy: Own the post-acquisition integration framework to ensure synergies and commercial objectives are delivered.
  • Market intelligence and ecosystem radar: Develop deep expertise in the Proptech landscape through market research and building relationships with the external community (founders, industry experts, VCs, and advisors).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
