Senior Cost Consultant – Commercial Property | London

I’m currently working with a dynamic highly regarded consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Cost Consultant to join its expanding London team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-quality portfolio of commercial office projects across London, working alongside some of the UK’s leading commercial property investors and developers. You’ll have genuine responsibility, strong client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in a business that is going places.

Having established a strong reputation over the past decade, this consultancy has recently moved into a new Midcity office and is continuing to grow. They have already achieved recognition as a Consultant of the Year, which is a great reflection of the quality of their work and the reputation they are building within the London property market.

Their portfolio is focused around commercial offices and private-sector development, with a particularly strong network of clients across the London investment and development market. They are trusted by some of the top commercial investors and developers, giving the team exposure to high-profile schemes and the opportunity to build relationships at a senior level.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role would suit a Senior Cost Consultant who enjoys being close to the client, taking ownership of projects and having the freedom to make an impact, rather than simply being another name on a large corporate project team.

Why consider it?

This is an innovative, ambitious consultancy with an established reputation and plenty of room to grow. The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial and refreshingly down-to-earth, with a genuine emphasis on people and long-term relationships. They are driven by and successful in AI and new costing technologies and have a very fresh approach.

There is also a clear opportunity for progression for someone who wants to build their career quickly and become an important part of the continued growth of the business.

What they are looking for:

  • Strong consultancy-side cost management experience
  • A background working on commercial office / commercial property projects
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills

If you're an experienced Senior Cost Consultant and the opportunity to join a growing, ambitious business with an excellent commercial project portfolio sounds interesting, I’d be very happy to have a confidential conversation and tell you more.

They would also be interested in speaking with seniors who are ready to advance to Associate level and may be constrained due to lack of opportunity within their current role. Please contact me to discuss.
