This is one of the most ambitious engineering projects ever undertaken in the UK. The organisation behind it has the scale, the governance, and the senior stakeholder environment that genuinely stretches experienced professionals. People who work here don't just add a line to their CV - they leave with a depth of programme experience that sets them apart for the rest of their career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll sit within the Integrated Project Controls function, acting as the recognised cost and forecasting lead for your assigned programme area. Managing cost data across contracts ranging from £10m to £500m, you'll be producing insight-driven reports, presenting to Director and Board level, and driving the integrity of cost and forecasting data across a genuinely complex, multi-contractor environment. Hybrid working means three days on site at HPC with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.

This role would suit an experienced cost professional from a major capital programme background who is looking for the kind of career-defining project that comes along once in a lifetime.
