Re7 Capital is a London-based crypto-asset investment firm. We operate a range of innovative investment strategies at the frontier of digital assets, underpinned by proprietary data infrastructure and deep domain expertise. Our team brings together institutional finance experience, DeFi-native insight, and advanced analytics.
We’re hiring a Senior Legal Associate who will report directly to the COO to manage legal, regulatory, and operational activities across the firm. This is a senior, cross-functional hands-on role supporting fund regulation, compliance, commercial structuring, and strategic execution across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with leadership, team members, and external partners to ensure Re7 operates with institutional-grade precision as we continue to expand globally.
Responsibilities
- Legal & Compliance
- Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures.
- Challenge and support commercial deal structuring and negotiation.
- Ensure compliance across sales, marketing, and corporate communications.
- Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new products.
- Handle legal entity governance, new structures, IP protection, and data privacy compliance.

Requirements

- 5+ years of legal and operations experience within crypto, asset management, or financial services
- Appreciation of digital assets and crypto-native legal frameworks
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent experience in a senior legal function
- Strong understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., FCA, CIMA, SEC, MiCA, etc.)
- Proven experience managing legal entity structuring, fund governance, and cross-border operations
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Familiarity with offshore fund and asset management structures
- Experience working with external counsel and regulators
