SENIOR COUNSEL – EMPLOYMENT LAW

LIVE

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role the Senior Counsel in Amgen’s Employment Law Group is responsible for advising on employment issues across Amgen’s global footprint, with a focus on Europe.

We are seeking an experienced employment lawyer to advise on employment, and labor law matters across the ELMAC region (Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Canada), with a primary focus in Europe. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in European employment law, excellent writing, and oral communication skills, be able to establish relationships of trust with HR and business partners and be able to collaborate with colleagues in the Law Department.

  • Provide legal guidance on employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Partner with regional HR and Staff Relations team to identify and mitigate employment-related legal risks in cross country initiatives while supporting business objectives.
  • Coordinate with local counsel on country-specific labor and employment law issues throughout Europe as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
