Job Description
Senior Creative at Havas Play
About Us
Havas Play. Building Brands In Culture.
We live in the space between traditional advertising and media to create work that is connected through culture, powered by partnerships. We believe in the power of the remarkable to create distinction and measurable impact in our work, with our clients and for our people.
We activate across a future-facing media mix, with four core services:
- Partnerships: Rights Holder | Brand to Brand | Talent, Influencer & Creator
- Social: End to End: Social Transformation | Strategy | Content & Production | Channel & Community Management | Social Listening
- Experiential: Activations & Stunts | Programmed Experiences | Live Events | Hybrid
- Content: Brand Films | Production
And we make work, that gets noticed, that gets talked about, that gets remembered but the people it was made for.
For some of the most recognised brands in culture: adidas | Asahi | BBC | EE | Footlocker | HSBC | Jet2 | JBL | Renault | World Rugby.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Creative who thrives on ideas, big, small, fast, and fearless. This isn't a role for someone who needs weeks to craft a single concept. We need a creative thinker who can generate multiple compelling ideas in a single brainstorm and isn't precious about any of them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

You'll work across the full spectrum of modern communications, from social-first content and influencer activations to experiential, film, OOH, and beyond. The idea is our starting point, not the channel.

- Work fluidly across channels: Create for social, digital, experiential, branded content, partnerships, and traditional media—often all on the same brief

- Present with conviction: Sell your thinking confidently to internal teams and clients alike
- Stay culturally switched on: Bring a genuine passion for sports, entertainment, gaming, music, or youth culture to every brief
- Mentor and inspire: Support junior creatives and contribute to a positive, energetic team culture
What We're Looking For

- Proven pace—you've delivered great work in fast-turnaround environments
- Channel-agnostic thinking—you don't default to a single format or platform
- Strong craft sensibility—you know what good looks like, whether it's copy, design, or direction
- A portfolio that demonstrates range, originality, and smart thinking
- Excellent communication skills—articulate, persuasive, and collaborative
