About Halpern and &Accelerate
Halpern and &Accelerate have come together to create a connected agency offering across PR, influencer, social, owned content and paid media - helping ambitious brands earn attention, participate meaningfully in culture and build lasting connections with their audiences.
Together, we’re building a more agile model for modern communications: a lean, high-performing team of multi-skilled experts bringing strong ideas, deep audience and platform understanding, cultural fluency, and exceptional creative and design craft to every brief.
We use AI and emerging technologies intelligently to support the creative process, accelerating exploration, production and optimisation without compromising human judgement, originality or quality.
Our clients include Hawkstone, Five Guys, Pets At Home, The Body Shop, E45, John Frieda, Stanley Black & Decker, Medik8 and Jack Daniel’s.
About the Role
As a Senior Creative, you’ll play a pivotal, hands-on role in shaping and delivering creative work across our client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and our teams across PR, influencer, social, digital and paid media.
You’re a social-obsessed, culturally fluent creative who understands how people behave across platforms, what drives conversation, and how brands can participate meaningfully in culture. You will be comfortable moving from the first creative thought through to the final asset, with a strong design eye, excellent creative judgement and a genuine commitment to craft and quality.
This is not a traditional, hands-off creative role. You’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and help make the work - whether that means developing an idea, writing a script, shaping a visual route, art directing content, reviewing an edit, refining a presentation, or solving a production challenge.
You’ll elevate the creative and design output of the agency, setting a high standard for the quality, consistency and effectiveness of our work across Earned, Owned and Paid Media.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership, Craft and Quality
- Set and maintain a high creative standard across the agency and client portfolio.
- Turn strategic and communications briefs into distinctive, relevant and creatively ambitious ideas.
- Elevate the quality of creative and design output from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Provide clear creative direction across copy, design, art direction, motion, video, content and production.
- Be hands-on in developing, refining and finishing work rather than simply signing it off.
- Establish clear creative feedback and review processes that help colleagues across the agency produce their best work.
- Ensure brand identity, tone of voice and visual consistency are protected across all touchpoints.
Earned, Owned and Paid Media Integration
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the distinct roles of Earned, Owned and Paid Media and how they work together.
- Develop ideas that can generate attention and conversation through earned media, live naturally across owned channels and be extended or optimised through paid media.
- Understand how the same creative platform may need to evolve across different audiences, formats and media environments.
- Work closely with PR, influencer, social, digital, paid media, strategy and account teams to deliver joined-up creative thinking.
- Ensure creative solutions are appropriate to the client objective, audience, platform, budget and stage of the customer journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Social, Culture and Conversation
- Be a leading voice on social across the agency, with a deep understanding of how key platforms work and evolve.
- Develop genuinely platform native ideas and content for channels such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and emerging platforms.
- Understand platform behaviours, formats, algorithms, creators, communities, comment culture and the relationship between organic and paid activity.
- Stay on the pulse of culture, digital behaviour and real-time conversation, identifying relevant opportunities for clients.
- Know the difference between meaningful cultural participation and forced trend-chasing.
- Develop reactive and timely creative work that is strategically sound, brand appropriate and well executed.
- Use social listening, audience insight and performance data to sharpen ideas and improve output.
Hands-On Creative Development and Production
- Take ideas from early-stage thinking through to presentation, development, production and final delivery.
- Roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to the work, including concepting, writing, storyboarding, visual development, art direction, editing, production and client engagement.
- Balance creative ambition with feasibility, timelines, budgets and production requirements.
- Use AI and emerging tools where they improve exploration, ideation, iteration, versioning and efficiency.
- Stay curious about new formats and tools, but avoid innovation for its own sake: the idea, audience and brand should always come first.
Team Development and Collaboration
- Help build and mentor a collaborative, multi-skilled creative, design and production team.
- Create a hands-on environment where people are encouraged to contribute, make, test, learn and improve.
- Share knowledge across disciplines and encourage closer collaboration between strategy, PR, social, influencer and media teams.
- Model high standards, accountability and a constructive approach to critique.
- Help create an environment where people take ownership of the work and are proud of the finish.
Client Relationships, Pitches and Growth
- Act as a trusted creative partner to clients, bringing clarity, confidence and fresh thinking to every conversation.
- Present creative ideas, design work and campaign thinking with enthusiasm and authority.
- Explain the strategic and creative rationale behind the work in a way that is accessible and compelling.
- Respond positively to feedback while protecting the integrity and quality of creative solution.
- Contribute to new business, pitches and organic growth opportunities.
- Help clients understand how strong creative, social relevance and integrated media thinking can deliver meaningful brand and business outcomes.
