The Role

At NEXT, we have a great opportunity for a Senior Creative Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team during an exciting period of growth and evolution. As the Senior Creative Copywriter you will directly manage 3 Creative Copywriters. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract working hybrid from our Head Office in Leicestershire.

Reporting to the Creative Copy Manager, you will lead on copy excellence, team development and cross-departmental collaborations. You’ll help shape campaigns, develop ideas, oversee creative briefs and champion NEXT copy across every customer touch point. Additionally, you’ll help evolve how copy is created by introducing smarter ways of working, embedding AI where it genuinely adds value and helps raise the creative standard across the department.

What You'll Take On

  • Developing campaign ideas alongside designers and creative leads, writing and shaping copy across key seasonal moments, CRM, homepage, app, social, retail and print.
  • Champion a consistent, distinctive brand voice and help define what great copy looks like across the business.
  • Explore how AI can improve creative workflows and productivity without compromising creativity, while helping to develop copy processes, templates and smarter ways of working.
  • Mentor and support other copywriters through feedback, collaboration and creative reviews, bringing fresh inspiration to every project.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
