Who are we?
Hi, we’re Tails.com – we turn good days into great years for dogs and their humans.
We're working towards longer lives for millions of healthy, happy dogs by providing tailored nutrition that adapts to each dog’s unique needs. It all starts with a few simple questions about their age, breed, zoomie level and tastebuds. From there, owners can create a personalised meal plan that's delivered to their door every month. No guesswork, no overwhelm. Just exactly the right care for every dog, every day. It's pretty clever stuff.
As a certified B Corp, being a responsible business is built into how we work – upholding high social and environmental standards to create better walkies for generations to come.
Now, we’re cooking up big plans. Having created an entirely new category in dog food, we have the backing of Purina – one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You’ll join a bunch of smart people working towards these same goals (and a bunch of very smart office dogs, all working on their own thing).

Overview of the job
Ready to take the creative reins within an iconic and dynamic DTC brand? As our Senior Creative Designer, you won't just follow guidelines - you’ll spearhead how the Tails.com brand lives, breathes, and evolves across our channels. Sitting at the very beating heart of our in-house Creative Studio, this role bridges strategy thinking with hands-on craft. One day you’ll be directing a high-energy campaign shoot or pitching conceptual big ideas; the next, you’ll be perfecting tactile unboxing moments and high-converting digital assets. Working hand-in-hand with our Senior Copywriter as a core creative power-duo, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of permanent and freelance creatives to translate big-picture strategy into standout work that pet parents - and their dogs - will love.

- Creative Ownership: You aren’t just taking briefs and pushing pixels - you’re driving how Tails.com shows up to the world. You’ll have genuine influence over how our brand evolves across integrated campaigns, shoot art direction, and high-impact touchpoints across the UK.
- True Cross-Channel Mastery: From tactile unboxing experiences and direct mail campaigns to high-performing digital ads and CRM, you get to execute across the full spectrum of print and digital design without being boxed into a single niche.
- High-Impact Studio Culture: You’ll join an award-winning, collaborative, fast-moving in-house studio where creative testing is celebrated and your work directly impacts revenue and retention.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
