What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced Senior Creative to support the ideation, production, and delivery of creative assets across all activities, products, and partnerships associated with the David Beckham brand.

The role will work closely with Authentic’s VP, Creative Director, acting as a key creative partner. You will help shape creative direction, develop ideas, and oversee the delivery of high-quality content across social, digital, editorial, campaigns, and brand partner channels.

A key part of the role will be taking ownership of the day-to-day creative process, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard and in line with the David Beckham brand. You will be confident stepping up to lead projects, provide creative direction, and represent the creative function when the VP, Creative Director is unavailable.

The role requires a keen eye for detail and strong aesthetic appreciation. The range of brand partnerships spans fashion, sport, automotive, philanthropic, and lifestyle, with each requiring a unique sensibility and approach. Across every partnership, the highest level of care and attention is required, with every asset viewed on a global stage.

From social-first content to ATL campaigns, the level of creative ambition and attention to detail remains consistent, maintaining a best-in-class creative aesthetic across all output.

The role will help manage and evolve the creative process, fostering strong collaboration across internal teams, commercial partners, production teams, editorial, and external creative talent. This encompasses digital, social, print, moving image, stills, and product.

This is an opportunity for a highly capable senior creative to play a central role within a dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial environment, working across a diverse portfolio of global opportunities.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Partner closely with the VP, Creative Director to develop and deliver the overall creative vision for the David Beckham brand and its partnerships, deputising and taking creative ownership where required.
  • Lead day-to-day creative development and execution across campaigns, social, editorial, digital, film, photography, and commercial partnerships.
  • Maintain a best-in-class creative standard, facilitating ideation and content creation internally and externally, ensuring consistency, quality, and continued elevation of the David Beckham brand.
  • Provide creative direction across look and feel, art direction, retouching, and overall content output, working closely with a variety of production/creative agencies and in-house creative brand partners.
  • Work closely with the Brand Partnerships team to shape concepts for social media and commercial campaigns, translating ideas into effective 360° creative executions.
  • Take ownership of projects from brief through to execution, ensuring creative quality, timelines, and partner requirements are effectively managed.
  • Provide creative leadership and direction to internal teams and external creative partners, helping to get the best from multidisciplinary teams and high-profile talent.
  • Contribute creative thinking to new business development and partnership opportunities.
  • Oversee design output, including client presentations, and ensure effective organization and filing of creative assets.
  • Build and maintain a network of high-level creative talent, including directors/photographers/editors, scriptwriters, DOPs, and other creative specialists, bringing fresh thinking and expertise into the business.
  • Stay ahead of current and emerging trends across photography, fashion, lifestyle, film, and social media, bringing relevant global perspectives and new approaches into the work.

Must Haves

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a Senior Creative or similar role.
  • Strong experience in art direction within an advertising or creative agency, with high-level editorial experience across fashion, sport, and/or lifestyle.
  • A highly creative thinker with the ability to generate, develop, and articulate strong ideas.
  • Ability to shape creative concepts around brand and partner objectives, existing brand DNA, audience, cultural context, and emerging trends.
  • Proven ability to lead creative projects from brief through to execution, with strong knowledge of creative references, research, and trends.
  • Strong aesthetic judgement and an elevated visual point of view, with a passion for exceptional creative output.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary creative teams and high-profile talent.
  • Strong experience across social media, film, photography, scripts, and broader content production.
  • Good level of image retouching and video editing skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume content environment, particularly across social and digital.
  • Confident stepping into a leadership role, providing creative direction and deputising for senior creative leadership when required.
  • Able to get things done quickly in a dynamic/entrepreneurial environment.
  • Technical proficiency in design applications / BA or equivalent in Graphic Design / Adobe Creative Suite / Keynote.
  • Time management skills / Attention to detail / well organized.
