What you'll do
The Senior Creative Strategist leads the development of commercially effective, audience-led ideas across branded content, partnerships, campaigns and experiences.
Reporting to the VP Global Creative, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and creativity. It shapes the opportunity from the outset, refines briefs, identifies the most compelling audience insight, and guides ideas through to persuasive pitch narratives and high-quality execution.
The role works across pre-sale and selected post-sale moments, ensuring strategic thinking and creative excellence stay closely connected.
- Lead strategic and creative responses for partnership briefs, RFPs and proactive opportunities across sales categories and platforms.
- Refine incoming briefs into clear strategic challenges, identifying the audience tension, human insight and commercial opportunity at the heart of each response.
- Shape bold multi-channel ideas that align client objectives, audience behaviours, brand voice and editorial standards.
- Own the strategic narrative within proposals and presentations, ensuring a clear through-line from insight to idea to execution.
- Partner closely with Creative Directors, designers, editors, media planners and production teams to develop solutions that are imaginative, sellable and feasible.
- Run and facilitate brainstorms, distills and strategic triage sessions, helping the team focus effort where it will have the greatest commercial impact.
- Guide the development of content, experiential, social, video and partnership ideas, ensuring each recommendation is grounded in audience relevance and platform understanding.
- Present work confidently to senior clients and internal stakeholders, articulating both the creative ambition and the strategic rationale.
- Bring an editorial sensibility to commercial thinking, balancing advertiser needs with the integrity, tone and distinctiveness of each brand.
- Contribute to workflow improvement, pitch quality, team development and a culture of strategic rigour and creative ambition.
- Support the transition from pre-sale to post-sale where needed, helping preserve the integrity of the original strategic idea through production and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
